    Journal of Tropical Plant Physiology was founded by the Malaysian Society of Plant Physiology (MSPP) in 2006. From 2019 onwards, the journal is published twice a year, in June and December.

    The journal publishes peer-reviewed research papers dealing with all aspects of basic or applied areas of tropical related plant science, which covers a range of disciplines from molecular and cellular physiology to whole plant and ecosystem physiology.
